Edward Scissorhands Synopsis
Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 film, it has been described as a romance, drama, fantasy film. It was directed and produced by Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder. The film follows the main character of the title - Edward, who is an artificial man with scissors instead of hands. Edward was left unfinished by his inventor, who had a heart attack, and ever since he has lived alone in the mansion owned by the inventor. When a property agent comes to view the house she finds Edward and beings him to live with her family. Edward soon becomes friends with the young son and falls in love with the daughter, Kim. The film follows Edward as he deals with people's reactions to his appearance and as he learns to communicate with people and the girl he loves.
